Celebrity Chef Norman Van Aken joins Stop Food Waste Day!

We are happy to announce that Celebrity Chef Norman Van Aken has joined us to celebrate Stop Food Waste Day!


Chef Norman Van Aken is best known for introducing “fusion” into modern cookery and considered to be the founding father of New World Cuisine. He was inducted into the James Beard list of “Who’s Who in American Food and Beverage,” won the James Beard “Best Chef of the South,” and was a 2016 MenuMasters Hall of Fame inductee. Van Aken’s namesake restaurant, NORMAN’S, was nominated as a finalist for “Best Restaurant in America.” He has written six cookbooks and a memoir over his career, and has opened twenty-four restaurants, including NORMAN’S, 1921 by Norman Van Aken, Three, and No. 3 Social. Chef Van Aken is often cited as a culinary expert in publications, is the host of “A Word on Food” radio show, and is a staff writer for The Daily Meal. His column, “Kitchen Conversations” has featured chefs, authors, and winemakers, among others.
